Search Engine Optimization and AI Visibility
About Project
Orange Solutions Ltd. is a Dhaka-based ERP software company with more than 18 years in the market and over 850 clients across manufacturing, retail, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, textile and garments, and FMCG. The company is ISO 9001:2015 certified and builds its own product family under the ZAB name, covering full enterprise ERP, SME ERP, retail and restaurant POS, HR, NBR-compliant VAT, hotel management, healthcare, laboratory systems, and brokerage.
The track record was there. The search visibility was not. When a finance director in Dhaka searched for the best ERP software in Bangladesh, or a retail owner searched for inventory management software, Orange Solutions was not the company they found. Smaller and newer vendors held the commercial terms, third-party listicles held the comparison terms, and almost all of the pipeline still arrived through referrals and direct sales. At the same time, a growing share of software buyers had started their research inside ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, and Perplexity, where a company that has not been structured for citation simply does not appear.
The business needed an SEO strategy for ERP software that could:
- Put Orange Solutions in front of finance and operations decision makers searching for ERP, accounting, inventory, and POS software
- Win commercial and comparison terms that were held by directories and newer competitors
- Make product and service pages readable to AI assistants, not only to Google's crawler
- Build a content engine that keeps earning rankings after the first quarter ends
- Show measurable movement inside three months so the investment could be justified and extended
ERP is a considered purchase with a long sales cycle. Nobody buys an ERP system from an advertisement. A buyer reads for weeks, builds a shortlist, and only then picks up the phone. That means the ranking work has to happen on the pages a buyer reads while forming that shortlist, not only on the page where they fill in a form.
The harder problem in this market is who owns the highest-volume queries. A search like top 10 erp software in bangladesh is not a vendor query at all. It is a listicle query, and the results are dominated by third-party blogs and software directories. A vendor site ranking there needs a different content structure than a product page, because the intent behind the search is comparison rather than purchase.
Core challenges included:
- Listicle intent on the biggest terms, where roundup articles and directories held page one and vendor pages were pushed down
- A wide product family of more than a dozen ZAB products, each with its own buyer, its own search demand, and a real risk of pages competing against each other
- Two separate demand pools on one site, covering Bangladesh-qualified searches and unqualified head terms like erp, accounting software, and inventory management software
- Competitors who had been publishing consistently for years, against a site with very little indexed editorial content
- A short runway, with results needed inside a single quarter
Challenge
The strategy started from one assumption about how ERP actually gets bought. The buyer is comparing long before they are contacting. So the work was built to be genuinely useful during the comparison stage, and structured so that both Google and AI assistants could read it, quote it, and attribute it correctly.
What we executed:
- Mapped the keyword set into three intent tiers, covering vendor intent such as best ERP software company in Bangladesh, comparison intent such as top 10 ERP software in Bangladesh, and problem intent such as stock inventory management system
- Rewrote title tags, meta descriptions, and heading hierarchy across the homepage, the six service pages, and the ZAB product pages so each page targets one primary term and stops cannibalising its neighbours
- Moved product pages onto descriptive URL slugs so the URL carries the keyword and reads cleanly when an AI assistant quotes it as a source
- Published comparison-format editorial content that answers the listicle query on its own terms, ranking the wider field honestly instead of only promoting the client's product
- Added a structured FAQ block answering the questions buyers actually type, covering ERP cost in Bangladesh, cloud versus on-premise deployment, NBR VAT compliance, and the difference between the enterprise and SME product tiers
- Implemented schema markup and entity signals so search engines and AI models can identify Orange Solutions Ltd. as a distinct company with defined products, certifications, and industry coverage
- Built internal links from the editorial content into the product and service pages so ranking authority flows toward the pages that convert
Solutions
Three months into the engagement, 25 commercial keywords were being tracked. Twenty-four of them sit on page one of Google.
Search performance after three months:
- 24 of 25 tracked keywords ranking on page one
- 13 keywords inside the top five
- 7 keywords inside the top three
- Average position 1.3 for erp implementation service
- Average position 2.6 for best erp software in bangladesh and 2.7 for top 10 erp software in bangladesh, both listicle-dominated terms
- Head terms carrying no geographic modifier also on page one, with accounting software at 5.1, inventory management software at 5.5, and erp and erp software both at 7.2
Final Outcome
What matters in this spread is not only the top positions. It is the coverage. The same site now appears for the buyer who knows exactly what they want and searches for an ERP implementation service, for the buyer who is still comparing and searches for a top 10 list, and for the buyer who has not yet learned the word ERP and searches for a stock inventory management system. Three very different people, three very different searches, one vendor showing up in all of them.
The second half of this result does not appear in any rank tracker. Software buyers increasingly open an AI assistant before they open Google, and ask it directly which vendors are worth considering. Those assistants answer by pulling from sources and citing them. If a company is not structured to be cited, it is invisible in that conversation regardless of where it ranks.
AI search performance after three months:
- 5 citations
- 5 distinct pages cited
- 1 brand mention
The number that carries the most weight here is the second one. Five citations spread across five separate pages, rather than five citations all pointing at the homepage, means the citation surface is distributed across the site. Different pages are being judged useful for different questions. Three months in, this is an early foothold rather than a finished result, and it is the leading indicator that matters most, because AI citation share tends to compound from a spread base rather than from a single strong page.
For an ERP vendor specifically, this channel is worth more than the raw numbers suggest. When a CFO asks an AI assistant which ERP vendors operate in Bangladesh, that is a shortlist-forming question. Appearing in the answer is not a traffic event. It is a place on the shortlist.
AI Visibility
ERP SEO is not a matter of putting keywords onto product pages. The buyer is technical, sceptical, and comparing several vendors at once, so content that only sells gets skipped by the reader and outranked by content that actually informs.
What drove Orange Solutions’ results was a combination of:
- Intent honesty, where comparison content that genuinely compares the field earns listicle rankings that a pure sales page cannot reach
- Page-level targeting, with one primary term per product and service page so no two pages compete for the same result
- Entity clarity, where schema markup, consistent naming, and visible certification signals let both Google and AI models understand exactly what this company is and what it sells
- Depth over cadence, publishing fewer pages that fully answer a query rather than a high volume of thin posts
- Head-term reach, where ranking for erp, accounting software, and inventory management software without a country modifier shows the content is competing on quality rather than only inside a small local pool
Three months is a short window for SEO in a competitive B2B software category. Reaching page one on 24 of 25 tracked terms in that window came from fixing the structural issues first and only then adding content, rather than publishing volume into a site that search engines could not read properly.
Why This Works
The Orange Solutions engagement shows how a company with real credentials and a weak search footprint can convert one into the other quickly, given the right structure. Beyond Bracket handled keyword and intent mapping, on-page optimization across the full site, comparison-led content, schema and entity work, and the AI visibility layer that most SEO providers in this market still treat as optional.
