Position Overview
We’re hiring a Video Editor Intern to support our creative and marketing teams. This is a 6-month paid video editing internship where you’ll work on real client projects—social media videos, YouTube content, product promos, reels/shorts, motion graphics, and more.
You’ll learn how a professional agency plans, edits, and delivers video content for brands across different industries, while building a strong portfolio that can help you land a full-time role in the future.
Key Responsibilities
As a Video Editor Intern at Beyond Bracket, you will:
- Edit short-form and long-form videos for Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok
- Cut, trim, and refine raw footage to create engaging stories
- Add titles, transitions, basic motion graphics, and sound effects
- Optimize videos for different aspect ratios (square, vertical, horizontal) and platforms
- Collaborate with the content, design, and marketing teams to follow brand guidelines
- Assist in creating reels/shorts for our clients and internal brands
- Organize and manage project files, assets, and backups properly
- Experiment with AI-assisted video tools where applicable (e.g., subtitles, templates, etc.)
What You’ll Learn
During this internship, you will learn:
- How agency-level video editing workflows actually work (from brief to final delivery)
- Practical use of tools like Adobe Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve / After Effects (depending on your comfort & project needs)
- How to edit videos for social media performance (hook, pacing, retention, CTA)
- How to make content look more professional with color correction and sound balancing
- How to adapt one video into multiple formats: reel, story, ad creative, YouTube, etc.
- How to work in a real client-serving environment, handle feedback, and meet deadlines
- How to build a portfolio that can help you get a full-time video editor job later
Qualifications
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is a fresh graduate or final-year student (any discipline) – passion matters more than degree
- Has basic knowledge of video editing (Premiere Pro / DaVinci / CapCut / similar tools)
- Is genuinely interested in content creation, social media, and storytelling
- Has a good sense of timing, rhythm, and visuals (you watch a lot of YouTube/reels? Great.)
- Is willing to learn new tools, shortcuts, and AI workflows
- Is responsible, punctual, and able to work in a team environment
- Bonus points if you:
- Have edited content for your own YouTube, Facebook, or TikTok
- Have a portfolio (Drive link, YouTube playlist, or social media profile) to show your work
Internship Details
- Duration: 6 Months
- Stipend: BDT 10,000/month (paid internship – not an unpaid training)
- Work Type: On-site, full-time (Banasree, Dhaka)
